Wood technology and its didactics

The research in the wood technology working group and its didactics takes place in the technical area on the one hand and in didactic research on the other hand. Scientific questions focus on wood properties as building material and the prevention, detection and cause research of structural damage in particular. In the field of building forensics, a special focus is on optical technologies, e. g. fluorescence spectroscopy. The didactic research in this working group focuses mainly on the transformation of professional practice and professional education in the course of the digitization of work and teaching processes.
